Trek Itinerary - Deori Tal and Chandrashila Trek

6 Days

Altitude: 4130 m

Season: April-June, September-November
Brief
Information: Chopta Chandrashila Deoriatal is a
window into Himalaya’s spring color vibrancy. A well-loved trek for mountain
goers of all kinds, this trek flourishes with blossoms, especially
rhododendrons red and pink, in summer time while winters are a hazy shade with
enough scopes to have a ball in spilling snow. There are three
things that are really stunning about the Deoriatal to Chandrashila peak trek.
As you climb up to Chandrashila, one by one, all the major summits of Western
and Eastern Uttarakhand pop into view. To begin
with, Deoriatal has the best forest trail amongst all our treks. If
you take the section between Deoriatal lake and Bhrujgali, it is
sometimes stunning to imagine how much variety jungles can be in. There
are thousands of birds to sight and photograph.
