ABOUT
Welcome to the NOMADIC
INDIAN blog. This blog encompasses my experience of travelling around India as
a solo traveller.
My name is Mudit
Acharya, an Engineer by profession, a percussionist by passion, a football
analyst by interest and a traveller by choice.
Right from the time I've graduated, I've had a dream that
one day I'll cover up the entire India on one go.
What is the blog
about?
This blog is a sort of a diary, a memoir, an account or
whatever you may call it, about the time I spend travelling across India. This
consist of the reminiscence of each and every event related with this
trip, right from the planning to the end of the journey.
Road map of the
trip
I am going on an expedition, a journey, covering the regions
of India with historical and natural beauties. During this trip I would be
skipping places of religious importance, except for those with historical
importance. I intend to start the journey from Hyderabad, my current location,
and move south, gradually moving north from the western regions like
Maharastra, Rajasthan etc and then moving onto the eastern region of Odisha,
Bengal and finally finishing off covering the northern region of Himachal
Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir etc. The journey would end at the Pangong Tso lake
of Leh.
Intention of the
trip
I see this solo trip as my way of soul-searching. I also
intend to show people how to travel safe and with bare minimum expense,
without compromising on your ultimate goal of enjoyment and peace of mind.
Feel free to contact me for detailed information of the trip,
support to make an itinerary or to discuss any kind of collaboration.
